MUVE began as a tech company dedicated to exploring the potential of eye-tracking technology.Since 2019, we’ve engaged deeply with the disability community—traveling across Taiwan, listening to their stories, and understanding their daily realities.
The deeper we explored, the more clearly we saw the social barriers they face.
Living with conditions such as severe Cerebral Palsy, ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis), Spinal Muscular Atrophy, late-stage Parkinson’s disease, or full-body paralysis after a stroke, many people with severe physical disabilities are unable to move freely. Some spend most of their time in bed, depending on others for care and often left without the chance to make choices for themselves.
Taiwan’s current welfare system for assistive technology presents certain challenges for children with physical disabilities. To qualify for government support for eye-tracking devices, applicants must first demonstrate basic proficiency—such as the ability to use their eyes to type fluently.
However, without access to the device beforehand, it can be difficult for children to develop these foundational skills.
This creates a gap between the learning process and the criteria required for support.
MUVE combines eye-tracking technology with education to create a way for people with severe physical disabilities to communicate. Through one-on-one instruction and tailored tools, we help them express themselves, connect with others, and take part in the world around them.
For many, it’s the first time their voice is heard—marking the beginning of greater autonomy and quality of life.
With the help of eye-tracking technology, their world begins to expand. They start to imagine a future filled with possibilities, choices, and connection. But turning that imagination into reality takes more than technology innovation.
They need long-term support and access to eye-tracking education—resources that are still far too limited.

Some children are fully aware but can’t speak or move because of severe physical disabilities. They have thoughts and feelings, but no way to express them—and are often misunderstood or overlooked.
We use eye-tracking technology and one-on-one teaching to help them "speak with their eyes." With time and support, they learn to connect, communicate, and be part of the world.
Every child deserves to be seen and heard. For them, eye-tracking isn’t just a tool—it’s their voice.
With your support, we can help more children gain the ability to communicate.
Some young people with severe physical disabilities are fully aware but have never had a reliable way to connect with the world. Without the right tools, they’ve been left out of school, work, and community life.
Through our eye-tracking workshops, they learn to use their eyes to operate a computer and build digital skills—such as document editing, graphic design, and basic video editing—opening the door to remote work and greater independence.
For them, eye-tracking isn’t just a tool. It’s a chance to grow, to contribute, and to be seen.
With your support, we can help more young people gain the skills and confidence to live, learn, and work with dignity.
